For questions not answered here Email us. All members who register can ask for an IATSE8 Email address. If you have not received yours click on registration and follow the instructions. Check your Email: Click Here to check your Email. Or type mail.iatse8.com into your browser. Your email address can be forwarded to your Email of record (The address you used to register for the site) to set it up: - Login to the site
- Click the Email Login button (you may need to be on the Home page to see the email login button)
- Type your Email address and Password then select Log in.
Forward your Email: - Login to your Email account.
- Select Forwarding under the Account Options menu.
- Type the address where you want your Email sent.
- Don’t forget to press save
This will prevent you from having to check several Email accounts. If you change your email address of record you will need to change you forwarding address on the site. - Login to your Email account.
- Select password under the Account Options menu
- Type your old password then select a new password.
Don’t forget to press save.
Setup Outlook - On the Outlook Menu Bar select the Tools option.
- Under Tools select E-mail Accounts…
- Select Add a new e-mail account. (or View or change existing e-mail accounts, if you already have an open account)
- You want to open a POP3 account
- Your email address is you username followed by @iatse8.com
- Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.iatse8.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP):smtp.iatse8.com
- Your User Name is your full Email address.
- If you are having trouble sending email then make yourOutgoing mail server (SMTP):mail.iatse8.com
- After typing in these settings, Select the More Settings button, then select the Outgoing Server tab (second tab) then check the box labeled “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and make sure the second option is selected “Log on using:. Your User Name is your full Email address and then enter your password. Select Remember password to make it easier.
Problems with the Email: If your account is not working you may need to change your Outgoing server (SMTP) setting. - Select the More Settings button, then select the Advanced tab (last tab)
- The default Outgoing server (SMTP) setting is 25. You may need to change this number to 26. (587 if you have Comcast)
- Your Incoming server (POP 3) setting should remain 110.
