WHERE TO REPORT: The show labor door is located on 11th Street across from Cherry Street. If it is your first time working, please show up at least 20 minutes early so you can complete onboarding and register into the time clock system. Your call should include a booth number or a specific room or hall you are to report to. If you are unsure where to go, ask the Elliot Lewis staff for directions on how to get to where you will be working. You will be given an ID card and must scan IN and OUT of your shift. Your ID must be visible. Elliott Lexis will provide a holder. The most important skill required for working in the convention center is customer service. Please act and speak respectfully at all times.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your call time, the building is huge, and you’ll likely have to walk a bit to get to your work location within it.
A/V DRESS: Dress blacks are required for any AV calls, and general session calls on show days. This should be listed in the CS notes.

RIGGERS: Bringing your own harness is recommended. One will be provided for you if you do not have one. You are also required to wear a hardhat at all times whether you are up rigging or down rigging. If you are down rigging you must wear a hi-viz vest at all times. For most jobs you will be required to work out of a boom lift. A 65 foot rope(at least) and a laser level with a vertical beam are required. If you are working in the ‘train shed’ you will be climbing through an architectural truss. It is recommended that you bring a pulley with rigging to hang it.

WHERE TO REPORT: Enter the venue at the loading dock gate. After the security check, walk up the ramp to the left. The first door on the left and to the left is the Stagehand office.
RIGGERS: Most of the rigging takes place from a theater grid. There are also FOH points that will require you to climb through architectural steel. An 85 foot rope is required. It is recommended that you bring your own harness, but one will be provided if you do not have one. A laser level with a vertical beam is also required.

RIGGERS: There are house ropes to use for load-in. If you would like to bring your own, it must be at least 160 feet long, and no more than ⅝” or 13mm in diameter. There is a limited number of house harnesses, please bring your own with any-style lanyard(no single leg lanyards). You must bring two pulleys and rigging to use with them. The pulleys must be able to run 5:8” ropes, and swiveled pulleys are highly recommended. Make sure you also bring carabiners and straps to rig them with. Daisy chain style straps are highly recommended for adjustability. You will need your own rope for the load out. The grid height is 115 ft to the floor, please bring a 120-125 ft rope. Please also bring a laser with a vertical beam that can reach the grid as well for load-in, if you are ground rigging you will need it.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: SEPTA Broad Street Line: AT&T station
WHERE TO REPORT: On the north side of the building, towards the NE corner of the building, you will see a sign on the sidewalk saying something to the effect of “Employee Entrance” with an arrow point towards a row of doors. Enter that door and proceed through security. You will either need to have a WFC stagehand pass or tell security that you will see WFC staff on the stadium floor level to get one. Once past security, turn right at the mezzanine, and right again almost immediately through a set of double doors; you’ll be able to see a service elevator through the doors. Take the elevator down to EF (Event Floor). Go straight out of the elevator and make your first left. Enter the cafeteria on the right and sign in.
RIGGERS: Colin Peters, the head rigger, will meet with all riggers before each call. The meeting starts promptly at the call time. Please be in the Stage Left bleachers with the rest of the riggers for the meeting to receive your assignment. When you show up for the loadout, go into the building as you would normally for a stagehand call, except you will take the elevator up to ‘BL’(balcony level). Check in with Colin to find out your assignment and sign in.
